adequate stay with some setbacks
poor soundproofingmorning noise
i had booked a superior queen room. i specifically requested a quiet room but this was not met. the soundproofing was not good so there was considerable noise in the corridor each morning. cleaners were talking loudly and doors were slamming which was disappointing.

I found the staff helpful, always ready to assist. The hotel decor pleased me. The location is prime. I could easily reach the Promenade and many shops on foot. Everything ensured a seamless stay. The well-designed rooms impressed me and they blocked sound very well.
The room I booked was a bit smaller than I had imagined based on the photos online. it served its purpose perfectly.

Breakfast had many options, both sweet and savory selections were available. I appreciated the variety offered each morning. I found cappuccino delicious each morning at breakfast. It was a lovely way to start each day.

The reception staff provided excellent assistance . They were always polite. I observed that they were very helpful with directions and recommendations. I especially appreciated their help with arranging transportation. They made everything so effortless.

The hotel's cleanliness stood out. Public areas were super clean all times. I saw that the nautical theme features blue and yellow colours creating a vibrant atmosphere. The location is near many bakeries and grocery stores. This made it very convenient.

The location was close to the train station. That's about all i can say.
I booked a 'superior queen room' and it was supposedly soundproofed, though i heard everything. i could hear cleaners talking loudly and some kid running around. It was impossible to sleep. the 'city view' from the tiny window wasn't much better, just some trash.

The housekeeping wasn't as thorough as I expect from a hotel in this price range. Room cleanliness could improve (I noticed dust in several areas). the lack of a gym was disappointing. I like to keep up with my workouts while traveling and had to find an alternative nearby.

Great Hotel Location with Excellent Service

I found the hotel very close to the train station. Grocery stores were also within easy walking distance. The beach and several restaurants were nearby, too. I was given a city street map and the staff spoke good English. I found this quite helpful.
I experienced a strange chemical smell in my first room. I requested a room change. The new room was quite tiny. It didn't strike me as a true four-star accommodation. The hotel building seemed a bit old.
